About Me
Spencer Perilloux is a professional percussionist based in Metro Detroit, where he performs regularly with regional orchestras and leads Detroit Marimba, a unique wedding and event music project that brings the concert marimba to new audiences. He holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Central Michigan University, with mentorship from some of the top percussionists in the country.

Beyond the stage, Spencer is a passionate educator. He mentors students through the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s Civic Youth Ensembles, maintains a thriving private studio, and partners with school programs across Michigan to elevate percussion education. His work bridges artistry and community, driven by a belief in music’s power to transform lives.
